Merchandise/Services Wanted For Charity Auction

The 2003 CUSTOM SHOOT-OUT charitable fishing tournament on January 2-5, 2003 in Chub Cay, Bahamas will benefit children internationally through Miami Children's Hospital Foundation, as well as children locally in the Bahamas. Without the support from our sponsors, boat builders, boat owners, and volunteers, our efforts to raise money for our charities would not be possible.

In addition to the traditional sponsorship support, the Custom Shoot-out offers the marine industry the additional opportunity for exposure to the fishing community through auction donations of high quality merchandise or services. These items may be sold during the live/silent auctions at the tournament. We realize many vendors cannot afford to donate merchandise or services for every fund-raising event requested. With this in mind, the auction will be set up with reasonable “minimum reserves” which will guarantee a certain minimum sale amount before the item is sold. If the item sells, the proceeds will be split 50/50 with contributors, to cover some contributor’s costs.
